“Never stop challenging yourself is the mantra at Inductis!” |
|
Intensity…
Coming from my startup days, I was always looking to work in a “high-energy, high-fun” environment. What I found at Inductis was that and much more. What do you do with a bunch of extremely smart people who know their stuff, care about their colleagues, know how to have fun and know how to do it all the time? You join them! |
and Diversity
Having worked on 4 different teams over the past 14 months has given me a unique work experience. The constants have been work rigor, creative mindsets, intense brainstorming discussions and in the end high quality output for the clients.
During my first engagement, the team I was working with stood runners-up at the Asia-Pacific KDD Competition (PAKDD 2006). The clients I have served include an Insurance Major and Financial advisory, a Pension Plan Provider and a Pharmaceutical Research firm. The jargon I have picked up includes words like Statistical Modeling, Customer Segmentation, Lead Management, Text Mining, Market Research Analytics, Risk Management and a whole lot of stuff that just seems so amazing when I say it! The learning curve has been sharp, and the slope just gets steeper every day.
Do you think that’s all?
Besides my projects, training new Inductis recruits on SAS makes sure I’m in touch with every new face that comes into the organization. Somewhere in between, SAS decided to call me a SAS Certified Programmer as well. Interaction with Senior Leadership has kept me hungry for success and given me a new viewpoint when I needed one.
Outside the workplace
Listening to varied music and reading the likes of Archer and Coelho are some things I enjoy. Badminton is a recently acquired passion, and I have been on the Basketball and Swimming teams during my high school days. I follow soccer and Formula-1 ardently. I like knowing my gadgets and am fond of trivia. Answer this - Do you know the first name of Captain Haddock from the Tintin Adventures? |
